Bayern Munich and France winger Franck Ribery has declared that the FIFA World Cup 2014 will be his last World Cup. The winger, however, is expected to be available for Euro 2016, which France will host. The 31 year old, who also appeared for Les Bleus in the 2006 and 2010 tournaments, believes his side will try hard to win the 20014 World Cup.

“It will be my last World Cup,” he said. “We have to go there to achieve something, to try to win the World Cup, quite simply.”
Franck Ribery burst into international scene in 2006 as he helped his team reach the Final in Germany, which they lost to Italy in penalties.
However, the experience of 2010 World Cup was vastly different as France could score only 1 goal in the group stage, as they were eliminated in the first round, putting an end to a miserable campaign for the Blues.
Ribery will be full of confidence as he travels to Brazil, having won the Bundesliga and the DFB Pokal trophy with Bayern Munich this year.
France open against Honduras on June 15, before playing Switzerland on June 20 and Ecuador five days later.
